As a New Zealander I took the opportunity to head overseas in 1990 to work in areas of accounting, manufacturing and quality assurance. I found my passion in financial services whilst working in the United Kingdom. After 17 years in the UK I returned to New Zealand and settled in Christchurch.
With years of financial advice experience, I have provided practical solutions to clients covering risk management, financial planning, KiwiSaver and transferring and setting up retirement plans. There are few situations where I personally have not been able to assist, provide guidance, and/or put in place practical solutions.
I am an Authorised Financial Adviser (AFA) in New Zealand and worked previously as an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) in the United Kingdom and as an Authorised Pension Transfer Specialist. My qualifications are a Diploma of Business Studies; City and Guilds in Quality Assurance and National Certificate in Financial Advice Level 5. I regularly complete additional professional development training and always look to further my skills and qualifications wherever possible.
In my spare time I try to keep fit and enjoy walking, cycling and getting out amongst the New Zealand environment to enjoy the great things this country has to offer.
