I joined the insurance industry in 2017. What I have found is that people encounter risks every day in their lives whether it be that they are no longer able to earn a steady income permanently or temporarily, losing something they cannot afford to lose/replace or even retire with dignity. This made me realise the fundamental importance of financial planning for the present and for the future.
My role is to converse with clients who have taken the initial steps in financial planning and determine if their personal circumstances have changed in the last few years, which often has, and seeing if there is a need to review what they have originally planned.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling the world and encountering different cultures as well as my love for rugby union, having played the sport for over 13 years.
